LEGACY Live Picks Up Momentum AND THEN SOME...

LEGACY had a wildly successful run at SteppingStone Theatre once more! In a matter of six shows, LEGACY raised over $19,000 and donated 100% of the proceeds! That is LEGACY’S biggest success to date.

LEGACY is now operating as a live entertainment business (LEGACY Live Entertainment, LLC- www.legacylivellc.com). It’s amazing how much work has come our way in just the first month after the shows. We’ve booked shows pretty much every weekend in July. It’s very motivating to have a good start with this new business venture. I admit, it’s a scary thing but as the days go by, I learn new things and I am getting the hang of this.

There has been a large interest in LEGACY since earlier this year and even more after the shows at SpettingStone Theatre.
We’ve had interest from high-profile theatre director who wants to bring a new LEGACY show to their venue in the Summer of 2012. This conversation is still in process. Nothing has been set in stone or on paper for that matter.

Also, there are management groups interested in taking over this show in order to take it to the next level. This means bigger production, bigger audiences, bigger budget etc. It all sounds great right? It is. It could be, I’m sure.  However, as I always say: Everything comes with a price. I’m not talking money or anything like that. I mean the changes that all of this could bring to everyone involved if LEGACY went in a much different direction. It sounds exciting and new but it comes with a price.

It’s a matter of stepping back and really seeing the big picture and deciding what is best for this show in the long run and seeing how that will change the current system.  On the other hand, this could take LEGACY to an entire new level; a level that could take me years to reach on my own. All I know is that I will stay true to myself no matter what. I’ll do what’s best for my family and this show in its entirety. I want to share this show with everyone and I will do my best to reach as many people.
